Legal Experience
I started my legal work as an intern at Lone Star Legal Aid where we helped people who could not afford legal representation. While I was in law school, I worked in the law library and interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in a misdemeanor court and in the Asset Forfeiture Division.
I was licensed to practice law in 2007. I started out as a Solo Practitioner. I then worked for a small firm, where we practiced Family law, Criminal Defense, Immigration and Civil Litigation.
For six years, I was an Assistant Attorney General, and now I have been a Litigation Attorney for the County for almost 6 years. I have been practicing for over 14 years and have tried over 700 cases.
My practice has been devoted to public service and defending the well-being of Harris County’s residents and I intend to continue serving the people from the bench.
